Itinerary

  • Arrive Chennai - the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company, is one of the oldest cities of the country. You will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel to relax. In the afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing of Chennai. Visit Government Museum, Fort St. George, Fort Museum, St. Mary’s Church, Santhome Cathedral, Kapaleeswara Temple and drive past Marina Beach. Overnight stay at Chennai. Accommodation Only

  • Drive to Tirupati to have Darshan of Lord Balaji. Tirupati is a temple town known for the famous ancient temple of Lord Venkateswara (Lord of seven hills or Balaji, as he is affectionately known) on the top of the 860 meters high Tirumala hills. The temple of Lord Venkateswara is not only believed to be amongst the oldest temples in the country, but also the richest of them all. Legend has it that Lord Venkateswara borrowed money from the divine treasurer Kubera for his wedding expenses. He is still paying back this debt which is why the pilgrims donate generously to the temple funds. Overnight stay at Tirupati. Accommodation & Breakfast

  • After breakfast drive to Tiruchanoor, also known as the Alamelumangapuram. The temple of SriPadmavathi Devi, the consort of Lord Sri Venkateswara is situated here. It is said that visit to Tirumala will be fruitful only after visiting Padmavathy Devi Temple. Drive to Chennai Airport to connect fight to onward destination. Accommodation & Breakfast
